Asuna teamed with Kirito during the attack on the first floor dungeon. She too, had no one to pair up with. That niht, Kirito shared some cream with her, and she became more liking to him, especially after he taught her the basics of party switching. During the battle, Asuna provied vital support by attacking and defending Illfang's atacks. Afterwards, when Kirito proclaimed himself a beater, he told her to try and join a guild, as there was only so much a solo player could do by themselves.
